Duluth 2019 Primary Election Primer

The filing period for Duluth city and school board offices is open until June 18 at 5 p.m. Below are the offices up for grabs and the names of those who have filed so far. The Primary Election will be held Aug. 13, and the General Election is Nov. 5.

Candidates for city offices must file with the city clerk, 330 City Hall, 411 W. First St., from
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The filing fee of $20 or a petition in lieu of the filing fee must be furnished at the time of filing.

Candidates for school board must file with the clerk of the school board, Room 215, Historic Old Central High School, 215 N. First Ave. E., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The filing fee is $20 or a petition in lieu of the filing fee must be furnished at the time of filing.
