Bent Paddle’s new taproom will open April 12

Bent Paddle will transition from its old taproom at its brewing facility to a new one across the avenue during the month of April. The new space, located in the former Enger & Olson Furniture store building at 1832 W. Michigan St., has been under construction since November.

The 5,500-sq.-ft. taproom will feature a seven-barrel pilot brewing system for experimental and smaller craft beer batches. Other additions include an event space, bar games, a fireplace, performance area, enhanced retail shop, kids nook area and pet-friendly outdoor patio.

The brewery will hold events marking a “Farewell to the Original Taproom” at 1912 W. Michigan St. from April 6-8.

From April 9-11, both taprooms will be closed in preparation for the grand opening.

The new taproom opens at 5 p.m. on April 12. The grand opening event will feature a brewers’ open house in the pilot brewery and live music by Erik Berry, Black River Revue and Feeding Leroy.

Grand opening weekend hours will be 5 to 10 p.m. on April 12, 12 to 11 p.m. on April 13 and 14, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 15.
