Champ Wants You

…to be in the UMD Homecoming parade!

entryrecruit

The parade is moving to campus this year, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. Mayor Emily Larson has graciously agreed to be Grand Marshal as we roll out with some Bulldog pride before the football game at 1 p.m.

Participation is free, it’s a good time, and we want to celebrate with as many of you as we can. We particularly want to encourage youth organizations and nonprofits to get involved in the parade. Registration closes Oct. 1, so you have plenty of time to design a killer float (or hit up someone to borrow their pickup).

Visit d.umn.edu/homecoming for more info about the week’s events, and we’ll post them on the PDD calendar as they’re finalized as well. You can contact me at parade16 @ d.umn.edu if you have further questions.
