Christopher Halverson performs “Rockcreek/Grantsville” at R.T. Quinlan’s Saloon during an open mic on Sept. 16, 1995. The video closes with a clip of Frank Nichols blowing his jaw blues harp.

FHI - he is not blowing a jaw harp - that is definitely a harmonica.  A jaw harp looks like the attached photo.

Thesaurus.com lists "jaw harp" as a synonym for harmonica, but you're right. Jaw harp isn't really correct. Shall we say "blues harp"?
