It was announced Nov. 25; story from the News Tribune:
Marcus Theatres to close Superior movie theater

They only charged $1 per movie the last weekend they were open.  As a Superior resident I'm sad to see it go.

I missed this, too.  I went on some memorable dates to that theater back in the day.  The digital conversion is an old theater dagger.
