Is it behind the zoo in the stand of red pines along Kingsbury creek?

That is correct. I knew it was too easy.

I actually thought it was fairly obscure. I wouldn't have know if it weren't for the tree planting project I did up there along the creek and SHT.

That's what I mean. On this website, when it comes to interesting park and trail features, somebody--even if it's one person--always knows where it is.

I think you win the prize for most detailed "Where in Duluth?" answer.

Yeah, either parks and trails or pics from drinking establishments. I like what that says about our city.

But if you're looking for details about the locations I could go on... like the thimbleberry leaves the kids are holding. There is a HUGE patch just down the hill towards the zoo from the picture. Or if you continue up the trail out of the pine trees, off the the left there is a very sad patch of forest with some dead and dying birch trees and lots of large leaf asters covering the ground. Then if you keep on the trail you'll cross the old RR grade where the flood almost washed out a bridge and onto the SHT and into my forest restoration project.
