Residential Services hiring recruiting coordinator

Residential Services, a nonprofit that provides services to empower adults and children with disabilities in living as independently as possible, is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated person to serve as recruiting coordinator at its Duluth office. The position involves interacting closely with prospective candidates and management. The recruiting coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, requisition, selection and hiring of qualified candidates, orientation, cross training and separation processes within RSI.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

-Work with management to identify recruitment needs and manage requisition process. Manage all modes of recruitment efforts agency wide; internal and external including attending job fairs.

-Responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing and placement of applicants into current openings.

-Work with the centralized schedulers to identify cross training opportunity for staff and manage agency wide cross training program ensuring sure staff are qualified, and providing appropriate placement.

-Conduct new hire on-boarding sessions with newly hired employees: complete new hire paperwork and review company policies.

-Create and update staff lists for licensing and report to county licensor.

-Manage employee separation process and gather information for unemployment claims and/or hearings to ensure that the organization’s exposure is limited.

-Respond to all outside requests for employment references and verification of employment.

-Assist with other HR projects as assigned by human resource director.
