There have been posts about Madeline Island, Grand Marais, Big Top Chautauqua, the Iron Range and on and on since the beginning of this blog. 

Duluth is indeed the center of our universe, but there is a lot of stuff worth exploring on the edges of that universe.

This is a site about Duluth. Part of why Duluth is awesome is that we appreciate cool things that are not limited to the city borders, such as interesting things that are only a day-trip away.

Concur.  Duluth is awesome because it is a nexus, not because it is isolated.
