    I recall taking a tour of Fairlawn Mansion in Superior many years ago, during which the tour guide pointed out a photo of Ruth. The mansion at the time was an orphanage, and the Bambino had stopped by to visit the kids. Ruth himself had spent much of his childhood in an orphanage. Somebody else may have more details on that visit, but I do believe it was during his 1926 trip to the Twin Ports.
