Mayor Ness using Twitter for flood info?

Does anybody know if Duluth Mayor Don Ness is on Twitter? I seem to recall a mention about it, but I can’t seem to find him on Twitter.

    I’m not on Twitter – but I am on PDD.

    And keeping a close eye on things, it seems. That is almost Orwellian.

    Does this make PDD “critical to dissemination of information to the public”? Now I see why the original founders have never been in the same place in public at the same time.

    Ramos, I’m not even going to bother.

    Les, PDD’s founders — Barrett Chase and Scott Lunt — have been in the same place many times.

    In 2009 they brought on yours truly, along with Brian Barber and Cory Fechner, to help direct the site, and up until June 29, 2012, the five of us had never been in the same place at the same time. But, for about five minutes, it finally happened at PDD’s Ninth Birthday Party.

    Oh, and Ness, your taste in social media is impeccable.

    @Paul,

    Sorry… Still trying to sort the urban legend from truth. Was going info from a comment that came from a ‘good source’ that made that statement in the thread below 8^)

    Oh duh… that posting was June 20, 9 days before the historical event. My bad. Old information!

    I guess the cyberterrorists missed their chance. Odd — you’d think they would want to go after a site like PDD, what with its great importance to the United States economy and all.

    Hmmm… they may have hired body doubles to be safe.

    I could swear I’ve seen a Mayor Ness Twitter account. But it had no tweets. Must be a fake.
