I like how Rick Nolan takes strong stands on the issues in this video. He’s pro cookies, pro Yahtzee, pro hunting and fishing, pro wild-rice picking and pro maple-syrup harvesting. But where does he stand on the controversial issue of long walks on the beach?

America has come a long way in advancing civil rights for all citizens. Yet women still face significant gender discrimination in a host of areas including education, employment, health care, pensions and social security benefits. As 8th District Congressman, Rick Nolan will fully support House Joint Resolution 47, which removes the ERA time limit for passage and ratification. Rick will work tirelessly on behalf of the ERA until it becomes part of the U.S. Constitution – virtually immune from attacks and legal challenges by the right wing as part of their war on the Middle Class.
Clark’s residency issues takes away an important barb in defeating Cravaack. Jeff would be a great rep, but does not have the appeal or support in parts of the district. Nolan actually won the caucus- so, let’s follow our own rules and get behind the guy who will do the job we need done.
