Duluth Videographers

I am looking for a videographer that can help me with a project. I am looking for someone that is creative, unique, and likes people. It will be a compensated project, and needs to look good. Any suggestions or contacts?

Hi, there~!! My name is Kim, and I'm a multimedia video producer currently residing in Omaha, Nebraska. I have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting: New Media from the University of Nebraska - Omaha. I have a sibling currently living up in Duluth, & I'm going to be visiting for a while in the city at his home during the upcoming holidays. I am also enrolled in a graduate school program at U of M beginning next semester.

I saw your tweet requesting videography help on Twitter (via hashtag #duluth) just a little while ago, and wanted to let you know that you ought to take a look at some of my work online to see if we'd be a good fit for working together in the near future! Not NEARLY all of everything I have produced has been uploaded onto YouTube, for the record, due to the massive file sizes of some of the films I've produced and others I've collaborated on. (Most notably, none of the work I've done with Dana Altman of North Sea Films is uploaded onto my YouTube profile; he is the son of the notably famous Hollywood producer, Robert Altman).

However, if you take a look at the variety of *all* of the uploads, you ought to be able to determine for yourself from the variety of different projects from all of my uploads, if I'm the type of creative 'people person' you'd be willing to work with on your upcoming project....

The first music video that I ever produced was for the debut single for a hit band on the world-renowned music label, Saddle-Creek Records (the same label for Bright Eyes, The Faint, and many more). I don't have it as one of *my* personal uploads, but it *is* on my YouTube channel as my primary video displayed. Please be willing to spend three or four minutes to view the music video and see if you like the level of creativity displayed across the many efforts I solely coordinated to successfully execute everything it took to produce that music video for that music label.

I own much of my own equipment and know how to use it. I specialize in video editing and special effects, albeit my number one talent is producing successful, professional projects - to include a number of music videos for famous musicians, promotional videos for business execs to advertise their causes while speaking at places such as assemblies at the United Nations, commercials for local businesses, documentaries, short films and many multimedia videos produced for professional video gamers' teams and leagues in order to help them obtain professional financial sponsorship. I legally own and am proficient with all of the programs included within Final Cut Pro Studio 2, After Effects CS4, and the programs encompassing Adobe Creative Suite 4 (Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, and more).

I would be more than happy to speak with you at your convenience, via email, phone, chat, or whatever is the most comfortable medium for you. I would love to discuss the complexity of the project as a completed work as a whole, as well as regarding all the specificities which will be required to successfully execute your ideas for this production.

I would more than love the chance to work with you on your project, in order to ensure that it will become exactly what you would envision it as being like, in your mind - and hopefully, by working with me, you will have this project finished and will go far beyond exceeding your original expectations.

If you are willing to speak with me and have the time, I have the time tonight and also am available to speak with you regarding this endeavor this weekend, so just get a hold of me as soon as you have the chance~!!

Take great care, and best of luck~!!

I don't really like people, but every project needs some motion graphics.

I know Dawn Mikkelson and she is well trained, easy to get along with and went to UMD. Green Green Water could have used a little more editing but This Obedience is great.

Avoid Kruse Line Productions - their attempts are laughably bad.

I thought I posted Dawn Mikkelson's name for this but it's not here.
Did I mess up or did you guys edit out?

WordPress for some reason flagged it as spam. It's activated now. Sorry about that.

Also, Dean Vogtman with Happy Tree Video Productions is excellent.

I'll give a +1 to Happy Tree. I had the privilege of working with Dean a few months ago on a project. His focus was relentless and he was great to work with - willing to take suggestions and committed to creating a top notch product with a quick turnaround time.
