What will happen to old Washburn school?

Does anybody have any idea what might be in store for the old Washburn Edison Charter School at 201 W. St. Andrews St. now that it is no longer being used as a school? I have a hard time imagining it’s all that cost effective for the Duluth Bible Church to continue there alone.

I’m betting they got some pretty awesome rent during the time Edison was there. Otherwise all I know is that I’ve heard rumors for years of parents interested in the Waldorf method of schooling were going to open a school (though based on my own experience with starting new alternative schools I’m betting the impulse has faded with reality hitting them in the face).

I also know that the owners of the building did quite a bit of masonry clean up and maintenance (perhaps tuckpointing? what is that called anyway?) this summer that must have cost a pretty penny. I don’t think the building’s going anywhere for some time to come.
