1-to-2-year-old Golden Retriever with blue handkerchief found at 16th Avenue East and Jefferson Street in Duluth this morning with no tags, looking scared and hungry. Ate three bowls of dog food. Anyone know the owner?
1-to-2-year-old Golden Retriever with blue handkerchief found at 16th Avenue East and Jefferson Street in Duluth this morning with no tags, looking scared and hungry. Ate three bowls of dog food. Anyone know the owner?
The owner realized the dog was missing about three hours later and went on a walk, found us playing with him in the yard.

Glad they found each other. My dog would love to end up at your house where the food bowl was refilled over and over. She would eat unlimited amounts of dog food if she could. Sometimes I wonder if she would eat herself to death.
Many dogs will eat themselves silly if you let them, even if they are already fed well by their owners. But a feast every now and again shouldn’t do any harm for most healthy dogs.
Our golden used to regularly run off down to the picnic shelter at Lester Park, where he always seemed to be able to get someone to feed him a hot dog or something.
