"Breaking Dawn" captured in Split Rock Lighthouse State Park

Duluth landscape photographer Ryan Tischer will be exhibiting new images at the Duluth Photography Institute, including photographs from Death Valley, Olympic National Park, and the Lake Superior region.

“My goal as a photographer and artist is to accurately portray the emotional essence of a scene. With much of this new work I’ve found myself shooting when the very first or very last light of the day is illuminating a scene,” says Tischer.
