Haley Bonar – WOJB Concert Series at the Park Theater

Sublimely-talented Haley Bonar and her awesome band will be performing Friday, June 3 for the WOJB Concert Series at the Park Theater, 15791 U.S. HWY 63 in Hayward.

She’s about to head out on a nationwide tour starting mid-June with Andrew Bird and Gary Louris (The Jayhawks), so this is your best chance, Duluthians, to catch her live onstage. Hayward’s only about an hour-and-a-half south of you all. Don’t miss it!

Showtime is 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and available at wojb.org or 800-776-3689. They’ll be $20 at the door.

This is by far a better way to explain sound than my above post. Hats off to you Haley Bonar, I am amazed.

I absolutely love her new album. Slowly taking over 'Size of Planets' as my favorite from her.

I'm doing backflips about being lucky enough to book Haley for a WOJB show...it's been on my wishlist for sometime. I've been a fan since I heard that little gem 'Anger Repetition' on the Chilly Northern Women collection from 2002...GOLDER is definitely a new high-water mark...here are a couple YouTube links to Haley previewing songs from the new album to a MN Zoo crowd back in summer 2009...

Hope to see a huge Duluth contingent at the show...June 3rd at the Park Theater in Hayward. $15 advance @ http://wojb.org or 800-776-3689

PS: I don't know much about Haley - but I've been listening to the new album constantly for 3 days now. We've got three shows booked this summer (Steve Earle, Brandi Carlile, and Haley Bonar) and I think I'm actually most excited to see Haley. I just cannot get enough of this album, and the fact that she's about to set out with Andrew Bird is super cool. Yes, super cool.

OK - to backtrack - Brandi is going to be equally amazing - WOW:
