Homer’s epic tale springs to life in a world premiere musical.  With music by award-winning French composer Louis Dunoyer de Segonzac, The Odyssey follows Odysseus’s ten-year journey home following the Trojan War.  Encountering gods, sirens and monsters and pining for his wife, the ever-faithful Penelope, The Odyssey is an enduring story of adventure, love and romance.

SPECIAL UMD PLANETARIUM SHOWS:  UMD Theatre and Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium team together with “Odyssey Skies” – April 20 @ 7 pm, April 22 @ 7 pm, April 24 @ 12:30 pm, April 25 @ 7 pm, and April 26 @ 7 pm.  Location: UMD Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium.
