Learn how to make your yard better looking, and do good for the environment at the same time.

St. Louis County Extension will host its Spring Gardening Extravaganza: Creating the Sustainable Landscape on April 16^th. Northland residents can get expert advice on how to grow great ornamental gardens and beautiful lawns in our climate.  Ten speakers from the University and horticulture industry will be featured at the conference, along with 40 master gardeners.

Presentations include “Creating a More Natural and Sustainable Lawn,” “Selecting Trees for the Future Landscape,”  “Emerald Ash Borer and Gypsy Moths,” and “Adding Color to Your Landscape: The New Hydrangeas and Perennial Favorites.” The conference will also feature six workshops including landscape design and blending colors into the landscape.
