Cravaack in the news

Congressman Chip Cravaack gets a lesson on what it’s like to live in a country under the rule of law.

Apparently there is a procedure that is followed when people (or organizations) are suspected of crimes. Who knew?

Talk about coming 'round full circle! Back in '67-68 RFK was schooling the L.A. Sheriff on the constitutionality of his "pre-protest" arrest policy. Seems he was arresting folks (this was during the United Farm Workers movement) who he thought "might" break the law. At a public hearing Bobby told him to go home and read the bill of rights before coming back the next day.

Great, Cravaack's bulb shines as brightly as Bachmann's. I'm not surprised, actually.

Does he yet have an office in the largest city in his district?

I'm really surprised that the story of this great man's latest accomplishment isn't on the front page of the News-Tribune [1] with a "JAPAN ATTACKS PEARL HARBOR" size headline--it almost seems like they're slipping a little in the fawning department.

[1] This made the front page, after all.

Another teahadist who is ignorant to the rule of law. Comgress is headed to the toilet.

Teahadist. I like that.

I've also heard astroturfer, and have taken to using teabanger and teamafia.

Teabanger. I like that.

Yo Lo, you got it backwards brother. Congress has been in the toilet ever since the wacko libs took control. Now that people like Czar Jimmy are heading out to pasture (taxpayers grass no less) we're finally starting to see some progress. Leaders like Chip will eventaully reverse the damage that has been done. Side note- any bets on whether or not Jimmy takes a high paying board position with the new Red Star Plane Company? My money is on Jimmy getting a reward for his loyalty...

Jimbabwe, what if the Donkey and the Elephant are both fucked? What if a two party system leaves no room for a little favorite among Americans, called competition? Obama is proving to be the best republican president we've had in a long time, what's not to love? He gave all the money back to your select few redonkulously wealthy teabaggers so as to 'stimulate' business, kept all the wars going, with no new taxes, and no new blow jobs, it's all good brother! Go out and buy a new gun with the money you saved, or a cheap hooker. Your world is about to get even smaller.

So, back to the actual post...is Jim celebrating Chip's lack of comprehension of the constitution?

I hesitate to feed the troll, but...

Assumption #1: Jim is responding to a focused, admittedly snarky, observation I made about Congressman Cravaack in very general terms. I'm half surprised he didn't invoke Godwin's Law; he certainly pulled in enough others.

Assumption #2: It's pretty clear that he sees the world through differently colored glasses than I do.

Assumption #3: Crazy is a color.

Sorry Tim. you know how unusual it is for me to break topic, I guess I was distracted by interstellar politics, which, let's face it, is 2000 light years more interesting than the art of war.

See for yourself:

Because we all know there's a Vorgon Destructor Fleet parked just beyond the orbit of the planet that was once Pluto.

Hope you got your ride, Mr. Dent.

"Oh freddled gruntbuggly/thy micturations are to me/As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes. And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!"

For someone who ran on cutting wasteful government spending, chip's thoroughly enjoying his "fact finding" junkets.

How is the CAIR a terrorist organization other than the fact that it is an Islamic one? What a moron. He probably thinks Obama grew up in Kenya too and is a socialist akin to Hitler!

As Chip would probably tell you, ignorance is bliss. It's an incredible study on differing points of view, and how in true homosapien form, we view everything as reflected from the back wall of the dark recesses of our mind cave, never wavering from our trained assumptions of reality.

Why would you dock on Pluto when all the action is here? I guess we'll just ask Dan...
