Hey! Where’d you get that rock necklace?

My talented friend, Gail Blum, makes beach stone necklaces and now has a website where you can get one, too. Free domestic shipping!

Thanks, Claire. I do get asked all the time about it.

I love what she says about her product:
Each stone is warmed, treated with bees wax and strung simply with accents which compliment, not overpower, the beauty of the wave-shaped stone.

May we all be treated so tenderly!

I’m guessing those accents are meant to complement the stone’s beauty, but I can’t know for sure. Perhaps the accents are indeed somehow able to praise or otherwise raise the esteem of the stone’s beauty.

Ha! People who make typos need their esteem raised, too.

You can also find some great Lake Superior Stone jewelry made by my wife at the Blue Lake Gallery in Canal Park.
