I've had Homegrown fever since the last day of Homegrown last year. Man, oh man, am I excited. I got the inside scoop on a Wednesday night performance. I don't know if it's top secret or not but when I heard it I pretty much jumped for joy. May can't come soon enough.

ooooo, the Homegrown rumor mill is churning! I plan on quitting if the "man" tries to hold me back from my Homegrown fun.

Why so secretive?

Understandable. As The Go Go's famously said, our lips are sealed.

Norshor will not be open for HG this year.

YEA! But if that Matt Ray and The Damn Horses band ain't in a kick ass spot, there's gonna be trouble!! Put them in a room where we can SHAKE it!!

Generally, when it gets down to the week before, everything stays pretty locked to avoid extra insanity.

If you're nice to the trolley lady she'll probably let you play on the bus.

And house parties. Duluth, do we need to have a talk about this? I know there's houses, and I know there's party. This is like chocolate and peanut butter with Homegrown bringing the serendipity.

The "2nd Annual Homegrown Basement Show and BYOB-BBQ" will be happening again after the kickball game featuring bands that didn't make the cut.  I'll post a flyer once bands are finalized.
