Taste of Hermantown

The 2010 Taste of Hermantown is set for Thursday, Oct. 21 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Shrine Building (5152 Miller Trunk Highway). Admission is $15 or free for children 10 and under. All proceeds benefit the Hermantown Community Fund, an affiliate of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation. Tickets can be purchased at the door or the National Bank of Commerce – Hermantown location.

Participating restaurants this year include: Bridgeman’s, Broaster Chicken Express, Candy Bouquet, Do North Pizza, Fosters, Grandma’s Saloon & Grill, Grizzly’s, Hacienda Del Sol, Outback Steakhouse, Perkins, Pike Lake Dairy Queen, Proctor Blackwoods, Super One Deli, Texas Roadhouse and the Zen House among others. A silent auction is also scheduled to take place. Sponsored by Skyline Rotary.

During this year’s event, the 2010 grant recipients from the Hermantown Community Fund will also be announced. The Hermantown Community Fund was established in 2005 as a permanent resource to enhance the quality of life in the Hermantown Area.
