“Learning about Homelessness through Art”

This Friday, Oct. 1 @ Teatro Zuccone 7 P.M. and 8:30 P.M.

“The Land of 10,000 Homeless: A Multimedia Event to Benefit CHUM” explores the issue of homelessness through music, dance, video, and photography. Performers include cellist Kathy McTavish, dancer/choreographer Juliana Bertelsen, and drummer Andrew Turpening. Minneapolis‐based singer/guitarist Robert Everest will open the event with a short set.

The Land of 10,000 Homeless: A Multimedia Event to Benefit CHUM will take place twice at Teatro Zuccone on Fri., Oct. 1, 2010, at 7 P.M. and 8:30 P.M.

A half‐hour reception in the theater’s lounge, featuring a photography exhibit about homelessness, will precede each performance.
Tickets will be $10 and can be bought in advance through the Teatro Zuccone website and at the box office.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Churches United in Ministry and its mission of serving and empowering Duluthians experiencing homelessness. Come join us at the show!
