Volunteer Actors Needed For Haunted Ship

Time to start getting together our fabulous group of actors for the Haunted Ship on the William A. Irvin. Ever wanted to scare someone and get thanked for doing so? Ever wanted to leer at someone without having the police called? Now’s your chance!

We’re looking for a solid, responsible, fun crew of actors to staff the ship. The age for volunteers is 18 for safety reasons, but if you’re younger (like 16ish and extremely interested) or if you’ve worked on the boat before, we should be able to work something out.

Our run schedule is on duluthhauntedship.com. Please look it over and start thinking about what days you could/could not do. (First priority will be given to actors who will commit to at least 4 days of run.)

TRAINING SESSIONS! There are no formal auditions, and there won’t be dialogue that you have to memorize! There are currently two days planned for training, but we may add a third day if people need it. This day is TBA, based on any requests. These sessions are to get to know you, and for you to get to know us since we’re new this year.

We’ll be playing some games, having some fun, watching personalities to see who would work best in which room, etc. We’ll also go over the boring stuff – rules, expectations, etc.

WHEN? SATURDAY THE 25th and SATURDAY the 2nd between 2-5pm. (it may take less time depending on how many people show up)

WHERE? The Duluth Playhouse Conservatory in the Wells Fargo Building. 203 W. Superior St, Level One (Michigan Street Level of the Wells Fargo Building, enter on the avenue.)

Thanks everyone!
