WOJB Fall Concert Series Kick-off: Lil’ Ed & the Blues Imperials

Friday, Sept. 10, 7:30 pm at the Park Theater, Highway 63 in downtown Hayward.

A houserockin’ blues bash with some raucous, old-school West Side Chicago Blues. Lil’ Ed & Co. have been tearing up clubs, concert halls and festival stages worldwide for more than 30 years. This is a chance to catch the real deal!

Lil’ Ed Williams has a direct family line to the blues. His uncle and musical mentor was the legendary Blues Hall Of Fame inductee J.B. Hutto (J.B. Hutto & the Hawks), who studied under the tutelage of Elmore James. Lil’ Ed carries on that tradition as a master slide-guitarist, a gritty, soulful singer and an incredible showman. Don’t miss this one!

Tickets are $20 in advance online at www.wojb.org or by calling 800-776-3689. Visa/MC is accepted.

How the fuck can a person appreciate a kick ass blues band while floating in the white tourist pool?

Bill’s attendance would only raise the water level.

The water displacement is from the awe-inspiring, knee-shaking, housewife-dreaming size of … cue Chad Lyon’s voice … Bill Meier’s wiener!!!
