“Habitat Here!” Festival is for the Birds …

… as well as birders and non-birders alike who enjoy Laura Erickson’s “Speaking For the Birds” program on KUMD (Laura will be speaking at the festival!). The event is an essential for gardeners or non-gardeners interested in native landscaping; and/or all your friends and neighbors!

A free, open-house style festival to celebrate habitat and learn to create a haven for nature in your own yard; featuring:

  • Garden Tours
  • Speakers
  • Native Plant Sale
  • Expert Advice
  • Kid’s Activities

Join us for garden tours, to buy plants, and to generally learn about how the plants you choose for your yard can be more than just pretty — they can be pretty and provide habitat.  If you want to really garden “green” (or just mow less lawn!) this event is for you.  There will be activities for kids as well as two great speakers that you are sure to enjoy! Boreal Natives and Leaning Pine Nursery will be on hand providing expert advice and offering plants for sale all day. There is no fee and no need to pre-register.
