Lost cat

We just moved to Lakeside and our cat decided he wanted out. His name is Mingus, he is all black with a small patch of white on his belly. He left on Mother’s day and has been gone since. If you see him please email me at jakesandmingus (at) yahoo (dot) com.

Not what you want to hear but I have a very nice back up cat. I was foster caring for the cat and the owner can’t take him back. He has shots, neutered, still has claws but using cardboard scratches. Cuttles 23 hours out of the day. Talkative.

I’ll keep my eye out for Mingus.

Where exactly in Lakeside? I’m in Lakeside on London Road. Will keep my eyes peeled. I’ve heard that cats rarely stray too far. Rather, they hunker down under a deck or such very close to home.

Maybe Mingus went back to your old house?

Thanks for the comments. He was lost on McCulloch and 44th. We have been checking the old house five miles away without luck and checking the pound every couple of days – Not giving up yet.

don’t give up — we lost our kitty for 3 days. turned out she’d been locked in a neighbor’s basement accidentally. have you put signs up to alert your neighbors that your kitty is missing?

Seconding the patience and looking under the neighbor’s deck. One cat hid in the garage after we moved, and believe me I looked there. He showed up after a week and a half. The other spent a week locked in the neighbor’s garage until we found her.
