Volunteers Needed at Playfront Park

The Junior League of Duluth is moving forward with the building of Playfront Park! The new playground will be built in May with the Grand Opening celebration scheduled for June 4.

We need both skilled laborers and general volunteers to help assemble the new Playground. All skill levels welcome but every volunteer must be 18 years of age or older.

The new playground will be raised over the course of the long weekend of May 21 through 23. Each day is divided into two shifts; the first from 8am to 12pm the second from 12pm to 4pm. People are welcome to sign up for more than one shift.

To sign up please go to our website and follow a few easy steps:
1) http://www.juniorleagueduluth.org/duluth/npo.jsp?pg=projects&article=510&tab=Volunteer%20for%20Playfront
2) Select the day that you would like to volunteer (listed along the right-hand side of the page) and click on the “Register Now” button.
3) Add the number of people who would like to volunteer in the “tickets” box and hit “add registrants.”
4) Fill out your contact information and then use the drop down menu at the bottom of the page to choose either a morning (8-12) or afternoon shift (12-4).

Please encourage other adult family members, friends, and neighbors to sign up! Every volunteer will receive a T-shirt and water bottle. (Please note: no minors will be allowed on site until the project is complete.) Famous Dave’s, Subway Restaurants and the Green Mill have generously agreed to provide lunch to our volunteers!
