People of all ages, shapes and sizes will have a chance to learn some basic, advanced and even “trick” swing dance steps taught by a team of professional dancers (rumor has it that the area’s premier mix tape master will also make a guest DJ appearance sometime during the night slinging his favorite swing tunes).

Julie “Jitterbug” Pearce left her job as a news anchor in Duluth and put her Nurse Practitioner schooling on hold to go down to Haiti and serve in response to the earthquake there in January. She has since created the Julie Pearce Medical Relief Team and all proceeds from tonight’s event will go to that organization. She did a pretty cool interview with the Budgeteer last week, updating the story.
