And the winner is … (drum roll)

pdd_contest_lastsupper

And the winner of two tickets to Suzanne Vega at Big Top Chautauqua is Sam Haraldson, whose rendition of the Last Supper managed to capture our hearts and minds here at the PDD Headquarters. We have no idea who any of these people are, or what the story behind the photo is, but we like it. Congratulations, Sam. We hope you enjoy the show.

Our runner up is Ironic1’s Donut Flag. Truthfully, this was a close call, and we had to resort to (gasp) the democratic process in order to decide a winner. Should Sam be unable to fulfill his duties as winner, Ironic1 will need to step in.

stpeters-gyros

Cory Fechner receives honorable mention for his effort, St. Peter’s Gyros, which he heroically submitted even though he is disqualified from the contest since he’s one of PDD’s owner/admins. It should be noted that he submitted this entry before the death of Les Paul, in case you’re wondering why he’s not in the image.

Thanks to everyone for participating and look for more PDD contests in the future.

Neat! I'm just happy to be in the running at all. Grats, Sam!

I no longer hail from Duluth so attending the Chautauqua would be quite difficult for me. I will happily concede my prize to the fellow PDD regular, ironic1.
