What you will find at the market this week:

Jamison Meats will have tasty fresh local meats. Look for their truck near the market.

Berries Etc. will be at UMD’s Farmer Market this Wednesday with award winning blueberries and, if available, other good food.

GrassRoots Cooperative Farm will be at the market with Echinacea, spearmint, leeks, peas, kale, broccoli, and maybe carrots!

Naked Veggie Farm will be at the market this week. We’ll have beets, swiss chard, snow peas, carrots and potatoes. Catnip for the pets and dill for the pickles.

Rich and Carolyn Gilbertson will be at the Market for the first time this year.  We will have ribbon winning quick breads [wild raspberry, strawberry, rhubarb, too many to list and cookies (old-fashioned date, fennel seed, gingersnaps, sugar plus mini blueberry muffins), peanut butter fudge, double chocolate fudge, hand-dipped bon-bons (tart lemon and dreamcycle).  Rich makes windchimes out of old car pistons attaching collector cars, John Deer tractors, etc. to them.  He also has some kitchen ones with pots, pans, spoons, etc. attached.  See you there.

Gracia’s Great Lake Soap will have all-natural, handcrafted soap, Nourishing skin oil with jasmine and sandalwood, and whipped body butter with geranium and ylang ylang. Always 100% biodegradable. No synthetic fragrances, perfumes or dyes, no animal products, no animal testing, cruelty-free.

Antonina will have young Russian banana potatoes, raspberries, fence cherry berries.

Maxine Jordahl will bring her breads, baked goods, rhubarb, canned goods and more!

HavenWood Whole Foods and Golden Shamrock Traders will be there with jams and jellies and fresh bread and possible produce.

Dj mouse / Cayman Farms will have Caribbean Style Pepper Sauces and Jellies – Also new is the Spicy Jamaican Jerk Marinade and Barbecue Sauce and the Hot Basil Sauce. Look out for Salad mix this week!

Sacred Spiral Herb Farm will have fresh basil, oregano, thyme, sage and a few surprises!

Mike’s Aparies will have RASPBERRIES AND BLUERBERRIES at the UMD Market as well as some new Jams/Jellies, carrots, beets, onions, chard, cabbage (How about a 18 LB head this week) and HONEY in quarts and pints.

Deb Shubat will have zucchinis golden and green, mini cabbage, Sweet
Walla walla and red onions, ‘Samarkand’ and ‘Music’ garlic, Beets,
carrots, seed and nut crackers, beautiful cut flower bouquets.

Maxine Jordahl will bring canned and baked goods, homemade rock candy, zucchini, onions and rhubarb and maybe eggs.

Lita Wallace will have pea pods, baked bread, cookies, greeting cards.
green onions, crocheted dish cloths, corded basket and table top quilts.
If you are big on camping (esp. BWCAW), I have a quilted case for your
utensils.

Stacey with Energy for Life Connection is back from Marblehead MA and had an AWESOME experience learning from Herbalist Margi Flint.

Soon I will have new information and remedies to share with you, I have to organize it in my head first.

I hope to see you on Wednesday with all my usual remedies and some new sweetgrass turtles.
