Yoga North's Pain Resolution Clinics are an opportunity to receive an individualized one-on-one private session with a yoga therapist-in-training under the guidance of a SomaYoga therapist. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. Pain resolution clinics are designed to teach participants how to decrease pain; increase strength, balance, and flexibility; improve athletic performance; become more skilled at increasing and regulating functional movement; and learn tools and practices specific to their needs and goals.
In this class, movement practices are aimed at increasing stability in the body, the proper functioning of core and pelvic-floor muscles and ways to safely and gradually strengthen the core. In addition, simple and practical lifestyle, daily routine and diet practices are discussed that help to foster healthy mind, body and spirit for mothers. Second Saturdays of the month.
This five-week class series will include lecture, candid discussion, exploration of philosophy of wellness, some physical yoga practice, breathing techniques and home integration work. Participants will be taught various practices of yoga to help find a calm center in the midst of stress, anxiety, depression or PTSD.
Explore chakras in a playful, intuitive and curious environment. Meditation, positive affirmations, chanting and breath work will also be explored. All levels are welcome. Taught by April Harries, RYT200.
