Volunteer Day at Piping Plover Site: Woody Debris

During this final date, volunteers will be managing woody debris from the shoreline and burning it on site. Doing so provides an open and suitable foraging habitat for shorebirds. The larger pieces of debris will be managed with a chainsaw where needed. Gloves, buckets, chainsaw and contracting bags will be provided. Please bring your own equipment/materials if you have them. Participants are strongly encouraged to email Mikayla, at watertrail @ stlouisriver.org if interested in helping.
