Under the Blue Umbrella Concert Series: Sugar on the Roof

The Under the Blue Umbrella Concert Series at the Rugged Spruce Golf Club in Mahtowa, about 20 miles southwest of Duluth, features live music in an outdoor patio setting. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or sit on their golf carts.

Sugar on the Roof is a string band that features sounds from the 20s, 30s and 40s. Sometimes if the strings are hot and the mood is right, they throw in a few original tunes as well.
