UW-Superior will host more than 100 of the best high school musicians from throughout the Northland for the Tri-State Band Festival. Students will rehearse with UW-Superior Music Department faculty and guest clinician Austin Brake. Brake is a Doctor of Musical Arts student at the University of Houston specializing in wind conducting and music theory.
The day will conclude with a public concert at 7 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium featuring both high school and UW-Superior musicians. Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students.
