Join the Superior Hiking Trail Association to celebrate the completion of the Bean and Bear Lakes Loop and Bear Lake Campsite renewal project.

Bean and Bear Lakes Loop was the focus of a multi-year renewal project that is now complete and features updated tread, durable infrastructure and amenities designed to accommodate increased usage. The Superior Hiking Trail Association is celebrating with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Penn Boulevard Trailhead near Silver Bay (GPS coordinates: 47.29209, -91.29884). Donors, project partners, volunteers and fans of Bean and Bear are invited.
