Summer Jam at GND Rec with Duluth Transit Authority

Gary New Duluth Community Center and Recreation Area’s Summer Jam begins with skateboarding contests and demonstrations at the GND Skatepark. At the rec center grounds there are food trucks, homemade hot-fudge sundaes and root-beer floats for sale, and kids games including inflatables.

A free concert featuring the Chicago and Steely Dan tribute band Duluth Transit Authority is at 4 p.m. at the GND Performance Pavilion.

Attendees are invited to bring their lawn chairs.
