Salvaged Medium Paintings

Jamie Harper paints on reclaimed hollow core doors with salvaged latex house paint. As a Winona native, he is generally painting scenes and species from the Mississippi River area. However, this series of paintings focuses on the big lake and the northwoods.

This is Harper’s third exhibit at Pizza Lucé in the past 10 years. He was drawn to show his art in the Duluth area through working with local musician Charlie Parr on the cover art for the 2014 album Barnswallow.

The exhibit remains on display through the end of August.
