Lake Master Naturalist Zoom Book Club: Talking Rocks

Steve Kirhorn will lead a discussion of the book Talking Rocks: Geology and 10,000 Years of Native American Tradition in the Lake Superior Region by Carl Gawboy, a Native American elder, and Ron Morton, an earth scientist — wise men from two cultures who explore the natural history of the Lake Superior region, examining both the science and the spirit of the land.

Participants are welcome whether they have read the book or just want to listen to the discussion. This Zoom book club is hosted by Cook County Higher Education and offered free of charge, but registration here is required.
