Duluth Heritage Preservation Commission Meeting

The Duluth Heritage Preservation Commission meets on the second Monday of each month in the council chambers on the third floor of Duluth City Hall.

The commission recommends historic preservation sites and districts to the city council, approves or denies applications for historic construction and demolition permits, recommends historic preservation guidelines, works for the continuing education of the citizens of the city with respect to the historic and architectural heritage of the city, and recommends to the planning commission and council that certain properties eligible for designation as historic preservation landmarks or districts be acquired.
