Here it Snows in June Book Launch

Attendees can catch a reading, signing, and Q&A session with Duluth author Eric Cyr. He celebrates the launch of his debut book, a collection of short stories titled Here It Snows in June, published with Wiseblood Books.

The stories center young husbands and fathers, high school students and would-be priests who are asked to face up to the bitterness born of the choices they and their loved ones have made. Archetypal Midwest moods and landscapes shape these stories that serve as an unsentimental homage to the “flyover” country of Minnesota where characters are confronted with the disorienting discrepancies between forecasts and real weather–where their high hopes are hit down by hard truths.
