The Summer (Mostly) Thursdays concert series continues with a performance by The KAT Trio. This classical ensemble known as the Ekaterinburg Classical Trio was born in the summer of 1998 in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Original trio members Vasil Galiulin, Victoria Gorbich and Vladislav Gorbich, all graduates of the Ural State Conservatory, brought their violin-clarinet-piano arrangements to festivals and concert venues throughout the Urals. The Summer (Mostly) Thursdays concert series continues with a performance by the Madeline Island Fellowship String Quartets. The Madeline Island Fellowship String Quartet Program provides intensive study and performance of string chamber music repertoire. 16 students are accepted for the ​five-week Fellowship String Quartet Program and study alongside the 32 students accepted into the three-week Chamber Music for Strings program. He has appeared as a soloist and as a member of various ensembles throughout Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Florida and Nevada. Miles lives in Madison, Wis. and teaches guitar at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He performs on a 2012 Pinnacle model classical guitar, built by Augustino LoPrinzi.
