Mystery Photos: Undeveloped Roll of Film from 2004

Duluth photographer Kip Praslowicz occasionally acquires old point-and-shoot cameras that still have a roll of film in them. In this video he shows off black-and-white images from a Samsung IBEX 3x camera.

Clues in the background of two of the mystery photos indicate the images might be from the Minnesota State High School League Region 7AA Visual Art Festival in early 2004. That’s as much as we know so far.

This detail doesn’t really bring the mystery that much closer to a solution, but matching the covers of a couple of the weekly magazines suggests the photos were taken specifically in late March of 2004.

This detail might be more useful. The photos were taken in Hibbing High School. The matching photo of the Hibbing High School library is from the architectural photo website siegerarchphoto.com.

Hi! Has this mystery been solved? These kids are from Cloquet. I went to school with them. The woman in the first photo was our art teacher. Some of the art is in my yearbook. I know names too if needed 😀

Well, sounds like you mostly just solved it @ARA924. 😀 I don’t really need names for any reason.
