Bad year I’m afraid, see DNT article. I am on a month-long waiting list at Nordic Firewood. Best bet now is to watch Craigslist I think.
We [and a bunch of our friends] have gotten wood from Robert “Bob the Wood Man” Dow for the past three or four years — 218.576.2245. He used to have oak, though this year it’s mostly birch, maple, and ash. I don’t know if he has any extra wood or not, but it might be worth a call.
