Politics & Beer in the Twin Ports?

If a guy and some friends wanted to have a few at a local bar and watch the debates, where might they be able to go about doing that? Is this a sports-only-in-the-bars kinda town?

Pizza Lucé or R.T. Quinlan’s are two where you can actually hear, if the bartenders are willing.

No. It’s a sports-only in the bars kinda nation. I’ve always thought it was kind of psychotic to have the commentary running in the background, sound turned off, no one watching. Because anyone who really cares about sports to that degree, is off their rocker. It’s just odd that bartenders across the land, in spite of the obvious lack of interest, feel this is somehow apropo 24/7.  SNL’s Seth McFarlane working-at-Footlocker skit is apt commentary.

    U-S-A, U-S-A!
