Dan Nelson, in my opinion, is one of the best if not THE best electronic music producer in the Twin Ports area. He’s been working hard at it for many years, and it shows. Most of the scene here doesn’t listen to (or really ‘get’) the style of ‘glitch’, ‘complextro’, or the subtleties of his style. The songs have a great amount of detail, and aren’t really crafted for casual listening. I suggest buying this record, and giving it a close listen. Think of some of the more complicated tracks as electronic math-rock. However, he traverses between this and lovely drones and ambience as well. Support the electronic music scene in Duluth!
