Fundraiser for new mountain bike trails!

The Brewhouse and Burrito Union have generously decided to donate $1 from every pint sold over the week beginning this Wednesday, Dec. 15, through next Wednesday, Dec. 22, to the Cyclists of the Gitchee Gumee Shores. In addition, Bernicks Beverages has donated all of the soft drinks to the Burrito Union for that week and all soda proceeds will also be donated to COGGS.

The only catch is that you have to mention the code word “singletrack” to your server/barkeep when ordering. This fundraiser is good throughout the day (even during Happy Hour) and will also apply to pitchers.

COGGS is embarking on a challenging project to build nearly 70 miles of non-motorized, multi-use singletrack trail purposely built for mountain biking that, when combined with our existing trail network in Duluth, will add up to over 100 miles of trails spanning our fair city from Jay Cooke State Park all the way to Lester Park!

We would really appreciate it if you’d come down to either restaurant and toss down some suds or soda over that week and help us to get closer to our goal of sustainable trails that are accessible from most areas of town.

Good to note these trails are multi use, so hiking, dog walking, running and loitering are also accepted!
