Can someone fix this synth?

I’ve got a Novation K-Station with a bad key. It’s pressure sensitive and only works when you slam down on it, and even then it’s a bit quiet. Is there any place/one in town that can fix it?

Try Lindor-Ward downtown. The guy’s not always there regular hours, but I know he repairs pianos, organs and keyboards.

I recommend Bruce at Electrotech, in the basement of Burrito Union. He’s fixed a couple keyboards for me, and he seems to know what he’s doing.

Bruce could get the job done, but if you want a specialist in this dept get a hold of Randy Smarzia (they have his number at Schmitt Music because he contracts for them). He’s a super chill and friendly guy and is an expert in all things keyboard, synth, organ, etc. Hope that helps!

My ‘C’ key on my main midi board is also shitting the fritz. HATE! How old is that thing? I didn’t know Novation was actually making hard synths anymore.
