Danecdote Live – April 28

So I noticed after posting many a flyer around town that some people just didn’t like them, and proceeded to tear them down. Go figure. Anyways, this is my last ditch effort to get the people of Duluth down to the Rex tonight. I promise lots of fun and plenty of dancing opportunities.

My fellow Duluthians, I plead for your faces to appear tonight, and your bodies and your energy!

Best of luck to you sir. I would be there if we would get around to moving to Duluth already!

Danimal, I wouldn’t take the sign removal business too personally–it happens all the time to all sorts of folks no matter what the event. Have a good show.

Ooof, people tear down signs all the time – this isn’t some organized movement bent on the repression of Danecdote.

Don’t get your nickers all in a knot. People rip signs down all the time, in fact turns out some people collect them (a compliment). I hung 10 signs last night for my Homegrown gig and I’m sure half are missing this morning. It’s the cost of doing business.

Thankfully the missing flyers had little to no effect. In other words, it was a great turnout! Thanks to everyone that came out. I hope this can happen again!

Space for posters is very competitive these days. Between people taking them as souvenirs and the limited space, it’s pretty common for posters to “disappear.”
