Diarama-rific

Did I miss the diaramarama? Did I spell that right? Should I save my shoe box? I could be wrong of course, but I thought it was around this time of year. I’m probably way off, but will save my shoe box anyway.

Bummer. You can’t blame me though, I moved. I was going to come back! I’ll make my own lonely diorama, maybe of a little Duluth so I can pine over it.

Well, the good news is, you didn’t miss it. The bad news is, there isn’t going to be one.

I went to the mill city museum in Minneapolis and there was an exhibit called the ‘Flour Tower’ and it was 8 floors of life-size diaramas. You are in a service elevator that has bleechers. There is a program that shows you different floors and it has great sound and integrated projected video, sound and light. The museum seems very small, but the ‘Flour Tower’ is really the main exhibit.

    Get your diarama fix there!
